An Aya retreat at Ancient Mother feels like coming home.
The personal connection and safety, the warmth, security, care, expertise and sincere love that Magriet and Harold have offered me is unique.
All the previous places I've been to for Ayahuasca and psilohuasca don't come close to this.
Magriet and Harold are two angels on earth. They do everything they can to provide a safe and loving home before, during and after the ceremony.
The houseboat is beautiful and cozy, with a wide view of the meadows.
Delicious, healthy food.
I can only recommend Ancient Mother if you are looking for an address for an Ayahuasca retreat!

This is my second time that I tried Ayahuasca but the first time with Ancient Mother. I'm so glad that I found this place and took the step to book a three day retreat.
The view from the boat is amazing and Margriet and Harold did everything to make the whole weekend extra special with the fireplace, food and hospitality.
The guidance during the trip and the days after, really helped with with my process and I'm ready for my next part in life.
I can recommended everyone that is looking for an Ayahuasca ceremony to put your trust in this team.

I was drawn to the center but was in doubt whether to do the two day ceremony where most centers also provide one ceremony. So I called Margriet and she explained the benefits of two ceremonies. And she was right indeed.
The two ceremonies back to back provide a whole experience. Looking back merely one ceremony would not have brought the feeling of unity I feel now. Susan and Harold took such wonderful care of us, I am truly grateful for this experience.
The time spent on integration is very valuable.
Food and care is excellent throughout the weekend. Thank you for helping to pave my way into the future.

“A timeless weekend full of wonders and beautiful souls, a journey through the unknown mysteries of the universe and spirit guided by the divine spirit of mother Ayahuasca.
It was my first ayahuasca experience and this place was PERFECT! I remember that when I arrived there I was so anxious about it but the guides, Margriet, Harold and Martijn made me feel safe, and of course let’s not forget Sambal the lovely cat :).

I remember that in the first ceremony, when I was in my darkest moment, Margriet touched me on my back and I felt her like she touched my soul and lived with me that moment and after that, the purest light sparked within me.
These beautiful souls are meant to bring light and joy to your life. I met people that I knew nothing about and became at some point like a soul family to me.

The houseboat and the surroundings are so cozy and help you a lot in your journey, everything feels like it’s in harmony there, and you feel at home.

I will never forget the experience, it totally changed my life, the old me died and reborn. If humanity could feel just for a moment what I felt here I think PEACE, JOY and LOVE will reign over this earth.
Love you people and even if I know little about you, I know your souls and that is enough for me.”

”What a beautiful retreat, I have had two retreats with them and they have helped me tremendously. I'm now more at peace with my self and the team of Margriet, Harold and Susanne put so much care and attention into your journey and your stay.
Its a cozy house boat with a beautiful view of the country side and so peaceful. You can also enjoy are nice swim in the river and the food is so tasty. If your looking for an intermate aya retreat this this the place to go, I highly recommend it.

I had the most incredible experience with Ancient Mother. Margriet is a born Shaman and Renate an angel on earth. The care, love and attention I received before and during the retreat made my journey 100% safe and life changing. The setting is a beautiful canal boat house surrounded by endless green fields, blooming flowers (in the summer) and retired horses.
Sambal (the cat) is a real character and will make a lot of cameo appearances that will steal your heart. The food is delicious. If all this wasn't enough already, you are also getting amazing support and tips for integration after the retreat.
All in all, a priceless experience I cannot recommend enough.
Do yourself a favour and book your retreat now!

Wow, what a great weekend it was! The place, the guides. It was my first time ayahuasca and i'm so glad i did it at Ancient Mother.
From the start it feels like home. Margriet and Renate are the best! You see the love in these 2 people and they know what they're doing. It was so beautiful to see how people changed after 2 ceremonies and the guides also loves to see this.
The boat is an awesome place as well with an incredible view through the big window. The food is made with love, the walk outside is through an old beautiful village. Booking an ayahuasca retreat at Ancient Mother is probably the best gift in the world to give yourself.

I am extremely grateful for the experience I had last week on the boat with Susanne and Harold. For me a cozy and safe place for my first Ayahuasca trips.
Harold and Susanne create a pleasant environment together, take great care of you and the loving guidance was palpable! I think the surroundings and the view are beautiful.
Highly recommended for anyone who feels called by Mother Ayahuasca.
