Motherland is a traditional farmhouse in Zeijen, a small village in Drenthe, close to Assen. It is surrounded by trees, fields and a large garden, with plenty of space to be outside during the retreat.

The house offers both shared spaces and quiet places to withdraw. During the retreat, you can spend time in the garden, walk around the grounds or simply find somewhere to sit and be by yourself.

The ceremonies, meals and accommodation are all at Motherland, so once the retreat begins there is nowhere you need to go. The small-group setting means we spend these days together in and around the same house.
