🌿 4-day Ayahuasca & Huachuma Retreat
Two nights inward, one day outward
There is a reason our 4-day retreat ends with Huachuma. After two evening Ayahuasca ceremonies, the final ceremony takes place during the day and has a very different character. Where Ayahuasca is often experienced as inward and intense, Huachuma is frequently described as more open, embodied and connected to the world around you.
Location & Arrival
Our retreat takes place on a peaceful farm in the countryside near Assen, in the province of Drenthe.
The retreat begins on Thursday afternoon. We ask all participants to arrive by 1 PM, so there is enough time to settle in before we begin.
Upon arrival, we’ll welcome you with a cup of herbal tea and start with an introduction round. There will be plenty of time to meet the group, ask questions, get familiar with the space and change into comfortable clothing before the first ceremony begins.
Each Ayahuasca ceremony lasts approximately six hours. Afterwards, we serve fresh fruit, followed a little later by a vegetarian meal prepared by our private chef.
What to Expect
The retreat is small and intimate, with participants often coming from different countries and backgrounds. Over four days, you’ll share ceremonies, meals, conversations, quiet moments and time outside on the land.
The two Ayahuasca ceremonies take place in the evening and usually have a more inward character. The Huachuma ceremony on the final day is different: it takes place during the day, with more room for nature, music, movement, conversation and being together.
By then, something has often changed in the group as well. After two ceremonies and several days together, you are no longer surrounded by strangers. The Huachuma day can feel open, intimate and surprisingly ordinary at the same time.
As always, there is no particular experience you are expected to have. The ceremonies may be intense, beautiful, difficult, joyful, confusing or quiet. Our role is to guide them with care and attention, and to give you the space to experience them in your own way.

Before the retreat, you’ll receive detailed information about travel, preparation and what to bring. If you are travelling by public transport, we can pick you up from Assen Station and bring you back there at the end of the retreat.
