Looking for a deeply personal and safe Ayahuasca retreat in the Netherlands? At Ancient Mother, we host small-group and private plant medicine retreats rooted in sacred tradition and grounded in integrity. Our ceremonies are held in a quiet, natural setting in the north of the country, and are guided by experienced facilitators who walk this path themselves.
We believe that true healing does not come from chasing visions or dramatic breakthroughs, but from being present with what arises. Our approach is gentle, respectful, and honest. We work with people who are ready to meet themselves in a safe, loving space — whether for the first time or as part of a longer journey.
What we offer
- 3-day Ayahuasca retreats (Thu–Sat) or 4-day Ayahuasca + San Pedro retreats (Thu–Sun)
- Maximum of 11 participants per group
- Two experienced facilitators per ceremony
- Optional private retreats (solo or as a couple)
- Focus on integration, sharing and presence
- Homemade vegetarian meals, silence, time in nature
Our location Our main retreat center is a 400-year-old farmhouse near Assen, surrounded by fields and forest. For individual retreats, we also use a peaceful, renovated houseboat — a perfect place to unwind, reflect, and dive deeper.
